Chelsea Hotel Shoot: South Jersey Boudoir Photography

So… I am completely thrilled with how our very first boudoir marathon went down. It was three crazy days for Shannon and I, but we seriously had a blast! We photographed 7 girls over the course of a few days and I survived on my usual diet of coffee and protien bars. Thankfully, there was a 24 hour Dunkin Donuts right around the corner! The weather on Monday and Tuesday was cloudy, chilly, and rainy- not at all like summer time, so needless to say, it was great to be tucked away in our waterfront hotel room. While everyone of our gorgeous clients had amazing images, not all of them wanted their photos online. So what you are seeing is just a teeny- tiny peek into what we actually shot. And I couldn’t resist grabbing some shots of our very talented makeup fair- Shannon! The light in the room was gorgeous and I had an hour to kill so I got this super casual and pretty shot right off the bat!

Atlantic City Boudoir Marathon: South Jersey Boudoir Photography

To kick off the start of fabulous new offerings, Glamour Bitch is excited to announce our Chelsea Hotel Boudoir Marathon. This shoot will be held on August 24th and 25th in Atlantic City. It’s an awesome opportunity to shoot with us in a hip boutique hotel. The cost is $425 and includes your shoot, hair, makeup, 2 outfit changes and 4 prints! There are only 4 openings remaining, so email me asap if you want to book a spot! Below are a couple more images from our teaser shoot with Kristen. There are a ton of options for different looks and the room has a great vintage feel to it.

Ryan and I have done dozens of shoots over the past few years, so sometimes coming up with fun, new ideas can be tricky. After seeing the July issue of Maxim Magazine, I knew that a poolside shoot would fit the bill. We had tons of cute ideas and outfits planned, and her neighbor was awesome enough to let us use his yard. However, the weather didn’t want to cooperate. 
. In between thunderstorms we were able to grab some great shots, but we didn’t have the opportunity to totally rock it the way we wanted.

A little while back I started exploring some local hotels and B&B’s so we could hold a boudoir marathon in a fun, new location. My assistant Kristen scored us a fabulous hook up in Atlantic City and this afternoon we decided to scope it out! The rooms are gorgeous and obviously perfect for a Glamour Bitch shoot. You all know I am a little obsessed with anything leopard print… wait till you see the chairs! These are just 2 of the 400 images we shot tonight, but you can get an idea of how much this location is going to rock. Stay tuned for details to book a spot in our August Boudoir Marathon.

Wow, I just came across these gorgeous images from Vouge Italia: Beauty on another blog. I was so excited to see some behind the scenes video along with the final print images. The room is kind of cluttered and the decorating is a little tacky, the lighting is super simple, but the shots are stunning!!! This really proves that you don’t need a lot of fancy equipment, studios, or assistants to create amazing images. If you are a good photographer, you make it work… beautifully. Take a look at some of these images and then watch the video below. Start thinking of some ideas for your next Glamour Bitch Photo shoot!

Jane- South Jersey Boudoir Photography

Jane is one of my favorite clients! I got to do my third shoot in 2 months with her earlier this week. Jane travels all the way from New York, over 2 hours to come and see us and she always brings the most fabulous things for her shoot. After viewing my blog post about the Miss USA photos, she decided that she wanted to recreate one of those looks for her shoot. I love the combination of her dark hair and the light shirt in black and white. There are a ton of photos from this shoot that I can’t wait to share.

Katie: South Jersey Glamour Photography

Katie came for a shoot a few months ago, looking to give her boyfriend something fabulous for his birthday. She was a little nervous, but you would never know it by looking at these pics. She was a natural, you would have thought she had done this a million times. After discussing our love of David Yurman jewelery, we chose her looks and put together some great outfits. Katie booked the half day shoot, so we ended up with a lot of variety in her sets which made for a great album. The first look was a really cool pair of flocked jeans with a bustier she borrowed from us and a pair of thigh high black boots.
The second look was a sweet lavender bra and panty set from H&M. Check out their selection of inexpensive lingerie, proving you don’t need to be extravagant when putting together your looks. Simple is always beautiful!
Her last look, a simple black dress, was my favorite. The simplicity of the dress allowed us to go a little wild with the background and we also mixed in the vintage style head piece. Katie was my first client to rock the hot pink damask background and I think she did an awesome job. I hear her boyfriend loved the pics! Thanks Katie, for allowing me to share your photos.
Nina: South Jersey Boudoir Photography

Nina came for her first shoot with us in January after seeing some photos I had done for her nanny. She booked a full day shoot with us and brought a ton of great outfit options and even some fun hair extensions from Jessica Simpson. Even though she was pretty nervous, Nina was eager to surprise her husband with some sexy photos. Needless to say, he loved the pics and she came back for a second shoot in February. After discussing the options, we decided that a custom 8×8 album would be the perfect way to show off her finished images. Here’s a peek at a few of her album spreads. 
I love the cozy combination of a chunky sweater over lingerie.
Ps… Would you believe she’s a mother of 4? Gorgeous!
