Boudoir On Film Workshop- Part 2

I know I am the worst when it comes to keeping up with sharing photos of all of my gorgeous clients. I was going through some old photos this past weekend, and I came across some more images that I took at Danielle Fletcher’s Boudoir on Film workshop last Spring. Our model for this shoot was actually our waitress from the restaurant we had dinner at the night before. We kind of sprung the idea of her modeling for us at the last minute, and we were thrilled when she actually agreed! She had the most beautiful blue eyes and moved so gracefully. It was super windy in the little alley that we were working in, but I love how it worked with her outfit and hair. There are a ton of little spots similar to this one near our Collingswood studio. Alyssa: Sneak Peek

Every once in a while you meet someone that you know you were supposed to cross paths with. I’m a true believer that the Universe always has a plan and will put people or things in your life to show you the way. This is what happened to me on Wednesday morning when Alyssa arrived for her shoot. Not only did she arrive with a smile and overwhelming enthusiasm for her session, she also brought coffee! Yay! After chatting for a few minutes about the purpose for her booking her shoot, I realized that this was a woman that I was supposed to meet. We shared a hug and a few tears the proceeded to rock out her mini session. Thank you Alyssa for finding GB and sharing your story with us. So grateful to not only have met you, but to be able to contribute a tiny piece of your next chapter in life is the reason is the reason we do this.

This gorgeous girl decided to book herself a shoot so that she could give her hubby some beautiful boudoir photos for his 40th birthday. We had so much fun during her shoot and was excited to turn a sweet, innocent girl into a glamorous goddess. I think she pulled it off pretty well. We did 1 look with more of a sexy, casual feel so that she could show off a few of her photos to family and friends and reserve her lingerie looks for her husband. Susan was also kind enough to share a “before” image and to share a little about her experience.

”I decided to have these pictures taken as a gift for my husband on his 40th birthday. I wanted him to see that even in his “old age” he still has a hot wife! He was completely blown away when I revealed the pictures to him. He was amazed at the quality of the photos, the hair, the make up – he said he always knew I was sexy, and these pictures proved it for me! I’ve also shown some friends and they were amazed that I was “brave” enough to do something so bold. I told them I was very nervous until I walked in the door and Dawn and Shannon made me feel so at ease! Tutus, Carlee, and a Glamour Shoot at Our New Studio

Every once in a while I get an urge to do something different. I like a challenge. I like to learn. I like to grow. I’ve definitely learned that if I am going to grow, I need to try new things. Learning to shoot and find my groove in a new studio after being in the same place for the last 4 years is definitely a challenge. When I first learned to shoot glamour and boudoir photos using strobes and other sources of artificial light, and only recently have I found a style of shooting with natural light that I love. I was dying to experiment with some beautiful portraits with a clean, classic look rather than the same old Victoria’s Secret push up bras and crazy backgrounds. So I dug around on Pinterest for a couple of weeks for some inspiration and pulled it together. Using a few vintage slips I found at an amazing shop in Rhode Island this summer and busting out my sewing machine to make a tutu, everything started coming together. Carlee came to the shoot with some simple wardrobe items and Shannon blew it way with her hair and makeup skills. Determined to shoot with only natural light and a couple of white reflectors, I can’t believe how amazing these images came out. I am so grateful to Carlee and Shannon for helping me to execute my vision and for allowing me to “just do my thing.”

Holiday Deadlines, Rush Orders, and Planning Ahead

It’s that time again… The holiday rush is upon us here at the new Glamour and Boudoir Studio.

Though our deadline for product orders is December 4th, you can always book your shoot up until December 20th and we will have your password protected proofing gallery up and running the same day. Then, on Christmas morning, you can surprise him with a little online gallery of all your sexy shots. We also have rush fees in place if you decide to place an order after our deadline.

We’ve been in holiday mode for the last 5 weeks (thank you ladies for planning ahead) and our editing schedule is already tight. In order to keep things a low stress as possible and maintain quality, our deadline for product orders (albums, calendars, and canvas) is Tuesday, December 4th. This allows time for us to airbrush your images and for vendor turn around time. The deadline for small print and poster orders will be Wednesday, December 6th. Any orders placed within this time frame (before December 4th or 6th) will have guaranteed Christmas delivery. You will need to pay for USPS Priority Mail or USPS Express Mail shipping with any order placed for Christmas delivery.

For any shoots or orders placed after December 6th, I will do my absolute best to at least have the edited prints that are included with your packages in time for Christmas, but this is not a guarantee. A rush fee of $150 will apply if you need your order on short notice. Again, you will need to pay for USPS Priority Mail or USPS Express Mail shipping.
