Coming September 13th… Our latest shoot special. This shoot will be a 1 look shoot with classic pin up styling. We have lots of pin up perfect accessories including hair flowers, stockings, gloves, ruffled panties and pearls to coordinate with your wardrobe pieces. Victoria’s Secret and Frederick’s currently have great vintage style lingerie! Of course Kelley and Shannon will be here for your hair and makeup and we’ll shoot your session in classic pin up style. The package cost is $350 and includes your shoot (we’ll take about 75 shots so you will have lots to choose from) hair, makeup, and 3 airbrushed prints. Conflicted… Need your opinion!

I am in the process of booking rooms for our Atlantic City boudoir marathon and am debating on which would serve us best. I can get a basic room (the one you see in the sample pics) and that would be $425 per girl or would you girls be interested in paying more to book the suite- about $465 per girl?

Right now the package would include 1 hair and makeup, 2 or 3 outfit changes (about 125 images), and 4 prints- 8×10, 5×7, or 4×6.
Tentative dates are Monday evening, August 23rd , all day Tuesday the 24th, and Wednesday morning, the 25th.

Please let me know your thoughts :)

description of suite:
penthouse suites are located on the top floor of the tower and have a direct view of the Atlantic Ocean. They feature a sunroom with floor to ceiling windows, an ultra comfortable king bed with custom linens, a luxurious bathroom, separate living space for entertaining, iPod docking station, 42″ flat screen TV, stylish desk.

Kelly booked a shoot with us a few months ago to surprise her boyfriend for his birthday.  Kelly’s guy travels a lot for work and she was looking for a way to keep him feeling connected while he is on the road.   She showed me a fun vintage pin up photo that she wanted to re- create with her dog Abby.   Kelly brought some great outfits, including this adorable striped dress she made especially for her pics!  Shannon rocked out some killer pin up hair and makeup and Kelly and Abby were both a pleasure to work with.  We all had a great time shooting and I hear that her boyfriend loved the pics!   If you have a small doggy that you would like to incorporate into your photo shoot, email me!

How excited was I when my client Leah pulled these gorgeous Christian Louboutin shoes out of her bag?!  She ended up rocking them for 2 of her 3 looks in her half day shoot.  I’ll post more pics once they’re edited!

Annie Chau: I Brag.

Annie Chau is yet another fabulous woman I have had the honor of shooting this year.  We really hit it off when she signed up for our summer burlesque themed shoot and shortly there after she returned for a half day shoot.  I was so excited when she told me she wanted to use one of the pics we shot for her upcoming book and even more excited when I saw this…

Inspiration: Wardrobe

I get emails all the time with clients asking what should they bring to their shoot.  The idea of shopping for lingerie can often be intimidating, especially when you are overwhelmed with so many options!  While doing a little online shopping, I decided to visit the Victoria’s Secret website and see what inspiration I could dig up.  Most of these outfits are simple, but classy and sexy.  You don’t need to be over the top to come across as alluring or seductive in your images.  Often a floaty slip or babydoll can be extremely flattering regardless of your size, and sometimes a simple pair of panties with heels is all it takes to make your statement ;)  VS_looks

Facial expressions are the toughest aspect of a photo shoot to master.  I always suggest that you practice in a mirror before a shoot.  Even though you feel totally silly, this is the best way to see how your expression will read in a photo.  I recently came across an article in Glamour Magazine’s September 2009 issue about how emotions affect our look.  The photos that accompany the article really showed a range of facial expressions that are a great reference for preparing for your shoot.  Here is a link to the article, and I highly suggest grabbing a copy of the mag!

Thanks for visiting! I have opted to create a new blog site so that I can keep my fans up to date on all the exciting new shoot offerings, specials, and fun stuff that happens here.
