Now that the weather is finally nice… I can’t believe it hit 80 this week, it’s time for shooting outdoors! I love shooting with natural light with all the bright colors of spring. When you book a shoot with us, you can opt to do a look outside (weather permitting of course). There are a few places nearby that are perfect for soft, pretty images. I love Ashley’s Guess? girl inspired look and was so excited when she pulled out the bouquet of flowers to go with it. We shot this in front of a dilapidated building on the side of the road. Shannon’s look was something we dreamed up and planned for almost a year before we actually got around to shooting it. This looks was shot at the back end of a parking lot! Both shoots were definitely a lot of fun, and even though I loved shooting with Shanna in the snow (see this post), I like spring and summer shooting MUCH better.

Not really a slacker, but I swear these last few month have flown by. Everything that I said I would “do tomorrow” kinda got moved to the bottom of the To- Do list. This includes blogging all of the gorgeous women ( both holiday and valentine clients) that have given me permission to share their images, some of the amazingly thoughtful gifts we’ve received here at the studio, and all of the fun and exciting things that are happening for us. I promise that now that we’ve gotten through our busiest time of year, I will be a little more diligent in blogging for you girls. AC Marathon Boudoir Shoot for Valentine’s Day

Our next boudoir marathon is just in time for Valentine’s Day! This is the perfect gift for your sweetie :)
This shoot will be held on January 24th and 25th in Atlantic City. If there are enough girls interested, we will extend this shoot to Wednesday, too! The cost is $425 and includes your shoot, hair, makeup, 2 outfit changes and 4 prints! There are openings for morning, afternoon, evening, and late night if you need it. We want to take full advantage of having the room so we’ll work with your schedule. The images from our first two marathons are posted on the blog and on Facebook in the “Hotel Shoot” album, so take a peek and get some inspiration for your shoot. There is a $200 deposit required to reserve, and the balance is due the day of your shoot. Below are a couple of images from our past shoots. Sarah: South Jersey Glamour Photography

I have known Sarah for a few years now and was thrilled when she brought her friend Jaime for a photo shoot with us last summer. Since she was dying to do a shoot of her own, it was the perfect opportunity to see how everything works. A few weeks later, her shoot was booked and she was ready to go. Sarah booked a suite at Harrah’s Casino Hotel in Atlantic City for us to shoot in. Not only was the room amazing, but we totally took advantage of the poolside cabana she rented for the day, too. Sarah has some of the most amazing tattoos and she carries the look off effortlessly, like i totally want to get a sleeve now, lol. Below are some of the images we shot both pool side, and back at the room. I also included her “before” picture :) Sarah is a gorgeous girl and super sweet, so we definitely had a great time. Can’t wait to do it again!

Geysha: South Jersey Glamour Photography

Geysha contacted me a few times about setting up a shoot, but life got hectic and we missed a few opportunities to work together. That’s why I was thrilled when she emailed me about wanting to book for our Chelsea Hotel Boudoir Marathon. She was finally ready to treat herself to a fun day and to surprise her boyfriend with some sexy photos. Geysha is so gorgeous and sweet, and so laid back. She jokingly said that maybe after seeing these pics, her boyfriend would propose. I told her a few stories of some past clients who have had that experience, and we had a little laugh about it. Our shoot went awesome and Geysha was so excited about the pics that she went home and showed her boyfriend right away. Below are the images that he chose as his favorites.

I loved the mix of the pink stripes with the white and black of the bed!

This girl could pose!! She was so easy to work with and her outfits rocked.

About two weeks after sending me her image selections, Geysha changed her facebook status to “engaged!” Her boyfriend proposed and she has already picked out her dress. I can’t wait to hear some more of the wedding details. Best of luck to this gorgeous girl!!

A Behind the Scenes Glance…

So often we hear from girls that are so nervous to move forward with setting up a session. Almost every client that has come to us has told us how insecure and nervous she feels. “I’m not a professional model” or “I don’t know how to pose”…are just some of the things we often hear during a shoot. We get a TON of girls email us a day or two before the shoot and tell us they are FILLED with apprehension. We know exactly what it feels like to be on the other side of the camera, and we understand that it can be intimidating. That’s exactly why we strive to have FUN on each and EVERY shoot. The photos that you see posted here on the blog are the finished product of a Glamour Bitch photo shoot. Some pics are glamorous, some sexy and others can be cute. Whatever the end result, or what your personal goal is for your session, the atmosphere behind the scenes is always FUN! We strive to make it a COMFORTABLE and relaxed environment and when a client is having fun, that’s when the best photos are captured!

The picture below is from the Chelsea Hotel shoot. This was about 4 hours into our test shoot and Dawn and I were getting a little “loopy”. Lady Gaga was playing on the iPod, no dinner and several outfit changes later, we were having a blast. The end result is sexy, glamorous boudoir photos, but behind that, it’s just 2 girls hanging out and taking pictures.

So really girls…please don’t be apprehensive about coming to see us! This is all about having a good time, and capturing the essence of you!!

Chelsea Hotel Shoot: South Jersey Boudoir Photography

So… I am completely thrilled with how our very first boudoir marathon went down. It was three crazy days for Shannon and I, but we seriously had a blast! We photographed 7 girls over the course of a few days and I survived on my usual diet of coffee and protien bars. Thankfully, there was a 24 hour Dunkin Donuts right around the corner! The weather on Monday and Tuesday was cloudy, chilly, and rainy- not at all like summer time, so needless to say, it was great to be tucked away in our waterfront hotel room. While everyone of our gorgeous clients had amazing images, not all of them wanted their photos online. So what you are seeing is just a teeny- tiny peek into what we actually shot. If you like what you see, we are offering this shoot special again on September 20th and 21st. And I couldn’t resist grabbing some shots of our very talented makeup fair- Shannon! The light in the room was gorgeous and I had an hour to kill so I got this super casual and pretty shot right off the bat!

Atlantic City Boudoir Marathon: South Jersey Boudoir Photography

To kick off the start of fabulous new offerings, Glamour Bitch is excited to announce our Chelsea Hotel Boudoir Marathon. This shoot will be held on August 24th and 25th in Atlantic City. Ryan and I have done dozens of shoots over the past few years, so sometimes coming up with fun, new ideas can be tricky. After seeing the July issue of Maxim Magazine, I knew that a poolside shoot would fit the bill. We had tons of cute ideas and outfits planned, and her neighbor was awesome enough to let us use his yard. However, the weather didn’t want to cooperate. :(. In between thunderstorms we were able to grab some great shots, but we didn’t have the opportunity to totally rock it the way we wanted.

Boudoir Shoot Teaser: South Jersey Boudoir Photography

A little while back I started exploring some local hotels and B&B’s so we could hold a boudoir marathon in a fun, new location. My assistant Kristen scored us a fabulous hook up in Atlantic City and this afternoon we decided to scope it out! The rooms are gorgeous and obviously perfect for a Glamour Bitch shoot. You all know I am a little obsessed with anything leopard print… wait till you see the chairs! These are just 2 of the 400 images we shot tonight, but you can get an idea of how much this location is going to rock. Stay tuned for details to book a spot in our August Boudoir Marathon.
