Chelsea Hotel Shoot: South Jersey Boudoir Photography

So… I am completely thrilled with how our very first boudoir marathon went down.  It was three crazy days for Shannon and I, but we seriously had a blast!  We photographed 7 girls over the course of a few days and I survived on my usual diet of coffee and protien bars.  Thankfully, there was a 24 hour Dunkin Donuts right around the corner!   The weather on Monday and Tuesday was cloudy, chilly, and rainy- not at all like summer time, so needless to say, it was great to be tucked away in our waterfront hotel room.  While everyone of our gorgeous clients had amazing images, not all of them wanted their photos online. And I couldn’t resist grabbing some shots of our very talented makeup fair- Shannon!  The light in the room was gorgeous and I had an hour to kill so I got this super casual and pretty shot right off the bat!

Atlantic City Boudoir Marathon: South Jersey Boudoir Photography

To kick off the start of fabulous new offerings, Glamour Bitch is excited to announce our Chelsea Hotel Boudoir Marathon. This shoot will be held on August 24th and 25th in Atlantic City.   It’s an awesome opportunity to shoot with us in a hip boutique hotel.  The cost is $425 and includes your shoot, hair, makeup, 2 outfit changes and 4 prints! There are only 4 openings remaining, so email me asap if you want to book a spot!  Below are a couple more images from our teaser shoot with Kristen.  There are a ton of options for different looks and the room has a great vintage feel to it.

Ryan and I have done dozens of shoots over the past few years, so sometimes coming up with fun, new ideas can be tricky. After seeing the July issue of Maxim Magazine, I knew that a poolside shoot would fit the bill. We had tons of cute ideas and outfits planned, and her neighbor was awesome enough to let us use his yard. However, the weather didn’t want to cooperate. :( . In between thunderstorms we were able to grab some great shots, but we didn’t have the opportunity to totally rock it the way we wanted.

Boudoir Shoot Teaser: South Jersey Boudoir Photography

A little while back I started exploring some local hotels and B&B’s so we could hold a boudoir marathon in a fun, new location. My assistant Kristen scored us a fabulous hook up in Atlantic City and this afternoon we decided to scope it out! The rooms are gorgeous and obviously perfect for a Glamour Bitch shoot. You all know I am a little obsessed with anything leopard print… wait till you see the chairs! These are just 2 of the 400 images we shot tonight, but you can get an idea of how much this location is going to rock. Stay tuned for details to book a spot in our August Boudoir Marathon.

Wow, I just came across these gorgeous images from Vouge Italia: Beauty on another blog.  I was so excited to see some behind the scenes video along with the final print images.   The room is kind of cluttered and the decorating is a little tacky, the lighting is super simple, but the shots are stunning!!!  This really proves that you don’t need a lot of fancy equipment, studios, or assistants to create amazing images.  If you are a good photographer, you make it work… beautifully.  Take a look at some of these images and then watch the video below.   Start thinking of some ideas for your next Glamour Bitch Photo shoot!

Location Shoots

I get asked a lot about some of my images that were shot on location. Specifically, shots like these:

These images were shot for a client where he kept his cars.    While I don’t have the ability to shoot something like this here at my studio, we are more than willing to travel to you for a location shoot.  (A travel fee will apply) So if your man has a great classic car or bike that you would like to shoot with or if you have an area of your home that you think would be awesome for a photo shoot, let me know.

My client Susan had this idea for a Marilyn Monroe inspired shoot in her home.  Isn’t that leopard couch amazing????

Beach Shoots- South Jersey Glamour Photography

I love summer and of course the beach, so it was especially great spending both Friday and Monday morning “working” in Ocean City.  Both Sandra and Jessica scheduled their shoots about a month ago and we totally lucked out with the weather. Both days were bright, sunny, and warm.  Jessica and Sandra had no problem looking incredible even at 630am.

If you have been thinking about booking a beach shoot, you can do so for any weekday morning.  We work on a 430am call time so that we can have yummy, soft light and less of a crowd.

Beach Shoot with Autumn- South Jersey Glamour Photography

When Autumn contacted me about re-creating a gorgeous Herb Ritts image of Laetitia Casta, I was instantly excited.  She explained that her boyfriend’s birthday was coming up and he loved this pic.

Autumn was traveling over an hour to get to us and we needed to fit the shoot into both of our crazy schedules.   So we chose to go to Ocean City, NJ in mid April thinking that it would be chilly, but bearable.  All I can say is that we got really lucky with some beautiful weather and some amazing images!  I can’t decide which finish I like best, so I will post all three.  Thanks so much Autumn for allowing me to share your pics!Blog_Autumn

Shanna in the snow- South Jersey Glamour Photography

Just before this past Christmas, we got about 24″ of snow  here in Mt. Laurel.  Not something that happens often here so when it does, you have to take advantage of it.  That’s exactly what Shanna did.  Shanna called me a few days after the storm and  was dying to shoot outside in the snow.  Of course I couldn’t resist even if it was only 22 degrees.  And although the snow photos rock,  I am definitely looking forward to some beach shoots this summer!
