I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love this woman. She is fabulous in every sense of the word. We first me Desiree a couple years ago when she came to our studio for a shoot. She was quiet and kind of shy, but we definitely got her our of her shell a little. Her hubby loved the pics so much, he asked her to come back and do a book of nudes for him for his birthday! I gotta tell you, Des worked her tail off doing Turbo Fire ( I loved following her progress via FB, totally inspirational), got in the best shape of her life, and booked the shoot. She came loaded with a bag of goodies, lingerie, shoes, and jewelry and left the rest up to us. I love when a client trusts us enough to let us run wild with ideas. Heidi emailed us this past summer both excited and nervous to book a shoot so that she could surprise her husband for their wedding anniversary. What a doll, we absolutely loved working with her. Like every woman that walks through our door, Heidi was nervous. But of course, once she got a look at the hair and makeup Shannon did for her, Heidi was ready to rock it out. Her photos turned out amazing and she sent us the sweetest email after her shoot.

“They look sooo amazing…i can’t even believe that is me – my husband’s going to flip!!! thank you so much dawn – i don’t usually say this about myself…but i think i look amazing! i have been walking around with a perk in my step since you showed me the pictures!”

Heidi ordered one of our custom calendars and she surprised her hubby for their anniversary. We were dying to find out what he thought, so the next day she filled us in!

O.K. Dawn, here is the low down…he FLIPPED! As soon as he saw the cover of the calender he looked at it and looked at me like- “this isn’t you right?” (until he read my name at the bottom). His face immediately lit up! Every time he turned the page he would say “holy – - – - !”, and other things along those lines! After he saw the whole calender he looked at me and said “this is the best present you ever got for me!’ …Mind you, this is from a guy who is impossible to buy things for because he is so particular and just buys everything he needs himself. I can’t tell you how grateful I am that I found you! This 44 year old just got here groove back!

Fun new studio additions and sexy photo shoot with Kristen

I always keep my eye out for fun new things to add to our prop closet and this summer was no exception. Through a series of little excursions, I scored this pink vintage sofa and also came up with this gorgeous lace mask from Etsy. Though I am sure you have probably seen a few shots with our new vintage sofa, I wanted to share a few more from a series of shots I did with Kristen, our super awesome GB assistant. I often like to “test out” new backgrounds and sets before offering them to our clients so that there’s no guessing the day of our shoot. Since both Kristen and Shannon are constantly here, it’s pretty easy to convince them to model for me.
I really love the contrast with the sexiness of the black lingerie and the softness of the pink in the couch. Plus, any time I can shoot with natural light, it’s a major bonus. Oh and the outfit, under $20 at H&M, but it’s also here at the studio.

Also having a little obsession with body suits lately, too. They definitely flatter every figure and a perfect to conceal the areas we need to keep under cover as well. Both Victoria’s Secret and Frederick’s have great options. I think this little number though, came from Joyce Leslie and was under $20.

A Few Fabulous Ladies

We have been so flippin’ busy here at the studio the past two months, that I am way behind on posting photos from all of the ladies that signed releases for us. So to keep you all occupied until I am finished with the new site, here are two images from two awesome clients I had this week! Both of these ladies were ridiculously fun to work with and we are so glad they allowed me to blog their images.

Heather: Philadelphia Boudoir Photography

Heather came for a shoot with us way back in December… one of our last shoots of 2010. What a doll!! Like anyone, she was super nervous, but soooo sweet. Heather is a gorgeous girl with a beautiful body and the longest legs ever… I couldn’t believe it when she told me she had 2 kids. During her shoot, she had so much fun that she ended up adding a look to her package so that she could have even more variety (though the images we are sharing are only from her boudoir set). After her shoot, she sent us this message…

Ladies,
I just wanted to let you know that my pictures were even better in person. I cannot thank you enough – you rock!
My husband absolutely loved them! I will definitely be back and I am sure some of my friends will be calling you……

Shooting Outdoors: New Jersey Glamour Photographer

Now that the weather is finally nice… I can’t believe it hit 80 this week, it’s time for shooting outdoors! I love shooting with natural light with all the bright colors of spring. When you book a shoot with us, you can opt to do a look outside (weather permitting of course). There are a few places nearby that are perfect for soft, pretty images. I love Ashley’s Guess? girl inspired look and was so excited when she pulled out the bouquet of flowers to go with it. We shot this in front of a dilapidated building on the side of the road. Shannon’s look was something we dreamed up and planned for almost a year before we actually got around to shooting it. This looks was shot at the back end of a parking lot! Both shoots were definitely a lot of fun, and even though I loved shooting with Shanna in the snow (see this post), I like spring and summer shooting MUCH better.

Dina- South Jersey Glamour Photography

Dina came for a shoot last week with one of her best friends. She was looking for a gift for her hubby and at the same time, to give herself a little confidence boost. Well, Dina was absolutely gorgeous and a pleasure to shoot with. She brought a photo of CoCo along for a little posing inspiration and was determined to flaunt her curves. I would certainly say she did! Below is one of Dina’s sneak peek shots as well as the “before” pic she sent us.

A few hours after her shoot, I received this email which she has allowed me to share with you all :) I really respect Dina’s courage and spirit, such a beautiful woman inside and out. We <3 her!!

Dear Glamour Bitch:This is the best way I can express my feelings of how you guys made me feel! Hair a mess, evidence of make up left on my face, flashes of images of the events that were! What took place will stay with me for a lifetime. They called me a bitch before, but today I wear it PROUD! You say I’m a bitch, a bitch is what I am, a Glamour Bitch! I have been hit, kicked, pushed to the ground, spit on, left to clean up the mess that you made in your uncontrolable state. I have cried myself to sleep, changed who I am from inside out, covered myself up, concealed the bruises left on my body, yet forced to wear the ones left on my soul for there is nothing in the store for this kind of injury. Yet I’m the bad one, I am a bitch, a bitch IS what I am a Glamour Bitch! I was forced to fear what can not be changed the women that is inside. Tha one I hide so noone else can see the beauty of a women that is me. So many hours spent, to many tears cried, to many memories left, to many nights interupted from sleepless time. Too much HATE left from your uncontrolable state. So many have said “just try“, “wear this“, put a little on” STOP if caould only see this would allow me to rewind back to who I was born to be, the women that is inside of me. Today I stand here in ALL my flaws, in ALL my flesh, in ALL my curves, in ALL my thickness, with ALL my fears, here for strangers that I have fallen in love with at first sight. to see, what I have tried for SO many years to hide. They have finally come, I have finally been found. They have set me FREE. You are NO longer the POWER of ME. SELF HEALING is what they have given to me! So standing here in HOT lights, sounds of the camera CLICKING, my heart is POUNDING, holding BACK the TEARS, I scream at the top of my lungs ” YES I AM A BITCH…A BITCH IS WHAT YOU SEE! HA HA… GLAMOUR BITCH that is ME!
