Though i don’t often post personal stuff on here, I thought this deserved a post. So… I am so excited to let you all know that I am engaged! During my recent vacation to South Beach, my fabulous boyfriend proposed, and now he’s my fiancé!! Though we haven’t set a date yet, we are so excited to start planning our wedding. Miami was one of the first places Greg and I vacationed together, so it was perfect. Our trip was amazing and I can’t wait to go back!

Snow Day

Please note: There are 67 more days until Spring is here, which for me is 66 days too many. Today I worked in my pajamas and drank coffee until it was almost dark out, which these days is 4:30pm. During one of my totally ADD moments, I found myself browsing cute swimsuits from the new VS catalog. I adore all of the retro styling and fun details this season and YAY, one pieces are sexy again! I will be daydreaming of my next vacation for the rest of the night and hitting the gym so that I am ready to wear a new bikini in 6 months. Till then, wear one for your photo shoot with us ;)

Happy Birthday Shannon!

Happy Birthday to Shannon, our fabulous hair/ makeup artist. If you have met Shannon, then you know that this girl has everything. And not just everything, but usually TWO of everything so shopping for her can be next to impossible. This year I straight up asked her what she wanted for her gift, no messing around. After thinking for a while, she decided she wanted a giant canvas print to hang in her new apartment. We shot her “Red” set last year, a few days before Christmas and the photos turned out amazing. She wore some sparkly Christian Louboutin heels and red lipstick. The whole shoot took about 20 mins but these are some of my favorite images of Shannon I ever shot.

It was a no brainer to use one of these images for her canvas and I think it came out awesome. I also ordered her 2 gorgeous metallic prints of some of black and white images, so that she can make a “Shannon Wall” in her new apartment! Here are a few shots of the canvas and I will post some shots of it hanging up soon!

Beach Shoots- South Jersey Glamour Photography

I love summer and of course the beach, so it was especially great spending both Friday and Monday morning “working” in Ocean City. Both Sandra and Jessica scheduled their shoots about a month ago and we totally lucked out with the weather. Both days were bright, sunny, and warm. Jessica and Sandra had no problem looking incredible even at 630am.

If you have been thinking about booking a beach shoot, you can do so for any weekday morning. We work on a 430am call time so that we can have yummy, soft light and less of a crowd.

Heather- South Jersey Pin Up Photography

Heather emailed me way back in March wanting to treat herself to a pin up themed shoot for her birthday. She told me straight up that she’s a ham and was ready to let out her inner pin up girl. She wasn’t kidding! Working with Heather was so much fun. We did a half day shoot (3 different looks), one of them being a beach bunny. Here’s a sneak peek at one of her images from this afternoon.

Beach Shoot with Autumn- South Jersey Glamour Photography

When Autumn contacted me about re-creating a gorgeous Herb Ritts image of Laetitia Casta, I was instantly excited. She explained that her boyfriend’s birthday was coming up and he loved this pic.

Autumn was traveling over an hour to get to us and we needed to fit the shoot into both of our crazy schedules. So we chose to go to Ocean City, NJ in mid April thinking that it would be chilly, but bearable. All I can say is that we got really lucky with some beautiful weather and some amazing images! I can’t decide which finish I like best, so I will post all three. Thanks so much Autumn for allowing me to share your pics!
